A narrow gauge railway along the Mad River in the heart of the redwoods.
A small-scale live steam railway that provides intellectual and emotional revenue, through irregularly scheduled operations.
A dedicated staff and well maintained equipment
Two groups of staff keep both three-foot and two-foot gauge trains running. Our HR department is headed by James Barnet, and he has done a stellar job of producing our membership.
Slow and steady
Though there is an occasional express run, most of our work is slow and steady so that enjoyment is the product, keeping everyone happy. Our conductor, Kevin Schindler, has worked hard to keep things moving smoothly.
